A special thanks to all of you who voted for the 5 star favorites!  We were all very suprised to open the paper on Sunday and see that we won, and we owe it to all of you that voted! 

We placed first in the Manicure, Hair Salon, and Locally Owned Business categories.  It just goes to show that without all of you we have no business. 

A little kudos need to go out to my great staff.  Without all of them, business wouldn’t run as smooth as it does, and I can’t thank all of you enough either.

You know I hate to be the one to bring it up, but the holidays are right around the corner.  With all the shopping, preparations, and errand running we often forget all about ourselves. 

It’s always been amazing to me that no matter how horrible you may feel, how just coming in for a touch up, trim, or new do can make you feel like you can go on.  And I’m sure I’m not the only one who will be dragging myself through the stores wishing I could take a break.

So, as a friendly reminder from me to you, give us a call and reserve that time for you.  You would hate to have Santa sneeking in on you and you scare the ba-jeebies outta of him by looking like you have been running a mile through the store to get that last Chia-pet on the shelves.

Don’t get me wrong, I dearly miss the blinding green and yellow greeting me every morning, but when you think of what we moved into…

It’s amazing!  So much more room, more additions to our wonderful staff, and one kickin’ massage/pedicure chair!  Any of our clients that we brought from the old building to the new one are just in awe of how the building goes on forever, and sometimes, I still am too.

So, I guess we just got a little too big for our britches and need some more space to grow.  We all got so much more than we ever thought we would and I know I personally will just never stop being thankful for that.  So thanks to all of you that helped make it happen along the way!

In the near future, you will find salon updates, salon news, and general information.  We’re open to suggestions on what you’d like to see posted here like hair advice, beauty trends, ect. 

Most of the salon information can be found on our website www.rws-salon.com but this will be an added bonus of current information.  As any of you who have a web site you’ve designed yourself, you know what a pain it is to update, so hopefully, this will be an easier way to get more current info to all of you faster.
